Hy-Tec Coatings got started in the early 1990’s at that time we were primarily doing spray in truck bedliners, and just investigating the possibilities and uses of other powder coatings. Our first use of powder was in a flame sprayed application. Where powder is applied to a desired thickness, to preheated metal objects, with a flame nozzle. Application was done at the customers site, one example would be large snow plow blades, others would include railings and bridge supports already in place. After several years the bedliner portion of the business was sold and our interests turned to the many other types of powder and their uses: thermoset, thermoplastic, ceramic, Teflon and others. We are a batch type business and for that reason we can do jobs of just one piece the size of a dime to large weldments (balconies and trusses) plus production runs as we determine possible. This type of operation, as our by line states " Any Metal Any Color Any Time" allows us the flexibility to work with customers to meet their requirments.and time demands. Working with motorcycle and automotive builders and hobbyist plus our industrial customers gives us great satisfaction in solving their problems and also seeing the end results.
